Teddy Bears' Picnic

picnic_invitation_small.jpg 34 zoos around Europe participated in the Teddy Bears' Picnic on 21 June. 25 of these also tried to break the Guinness World Record for this event. Unfortunately none of them beat the existing record of 33,573 teddy bears gathered at Dublin Zoo, Republic of Ireland on 24 Jun 1995.

Dublin Zoo is also the proud ‘winner’ of this event as they managed to have the highest number of teddies at their picnic - 6,443. Well done Dublin Zoo! And thanks to all zoos that participated in the event, you have also helped in raising awareness for the campaign!
